The Peso Positivo Award — In Collaboration with Peso Positivo
The Peso Positivo Award was created to support the mission of the Peppino Fumagalli Family Association and the Peso Positivo project, a leading initiative in Italy raising awareness and promoting prevention around Eating Disorders (EDs).
Founded during the 2020 pandemic, Peso Positivo has become a safe space — both online and offline — where people affected by eating disorders, and those supporting them, can find guidance, information, and hope. Through digital campaigns, school projects, workplace initiatives, and the recent opening of Casa Peso Positivo in Monza, the association works to spread awareness, break stigma, and encourage a healthier relationship with food and body image.
With over 26,000 followers online, thousands of students engaged each year, and the expertise of its Scientific Committee, Peso Positivo stands as a powerful example of how community, institutions, and companies can come together to build prevention, education, and shared wellbeing.
The Peso Positivo Award honors and highlights this commitment. Its scope is not limited to eating disorders, but extends to films that explore the many dimensions of mental health, giving visibility to stories that inspire empathy, awareness, and change.
As part of this award, a donation will be made to Peso Positivo to further support its work in prevention, education, and community care.
